Double-Flex Power-Series Clamp Hub x Adaptor Mount CD® Couplings

The Power-Series is the latest addition to the field-proven Composite Disc (CD) Coupling line from Zero-Max that Engineers around the World rely on. The unique design captures the benefits of our proven composite flexible disc-pack along with maximum power density – allowing for higher torque in a smaller size than the traditional CD Flexible Shaft Coupling line.  The Double-Flex Series provides for higher shaft misalignment capacity and lower reaction loads in comparison to the single-flex configuration.  These CD Coupling Power-Series solutions are ideal for high-performance and demanding applications by featuring zero-backlash operation, high torsional stiffness, damping characteristics, and long maintenance-free operation.

The “Clamp Hub x Adaptor Mount” configuration features a traditional Clamping Hub on one side and an Adaptor Plate Hub that is compatible with ISO 9409-1 mounting standards to mount directly to certain gearboxes, transducers, etc. on the other side for an integrated space savings solution with maximum torsional stiffness.  The Clamping Hub works with both keyed and non-keyed shafts (see transmittable torque charts for specifications) and is available as a double-piece integrated clamping hub as well as a two-piece (split) clamping hub option for larger bore sizes and easier installation.   Review Catalog for available sizes and details on the Integrated Adaptor Mount Hub.
