Responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs on facility, equipment, and property structures, in addition to performing grounds maintenance. All work will be done in compliance with EPA and OSHA safety rules and regulations.
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma/GED, required.
Previous job experience in a manufacturing environment, preferred.
Basic knowledge of Carpentry, HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems
Experience using hand and electrical tools
Develops, validates, re-evaluates and improves production processes and manufacturing capabilities for efficient fabrication of parts, assemblies and finished products.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
BS in Manufacturing Engineering Technology, or equivalent; ten years of machine shop experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have a minimum of one-year experience with CAM systems and with manufacturing estimation tools.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES
Ability to program CNC equipment and write CNC programs. Must have general knowledge of mechanics and be current with the latest machining technology. Ability to schedule and plan. Possess proper work ethics. Dealing with complexity, informing others, knowledge of Manufacturing Methods and Procedures, Manufacturing Quality, Product Development, presenting technical information, CAD/CAM/CMM. Experience with Epicor ERP will be considered as a plus.
Leads, directs, and coordinates all manufacturing activities in the company. This includes Machine Shop, Assembly, Shipping/Receiving, Tool Room, Production, and Purchasing. This is a leadership role in the company that manages the various department managers and systems by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates.
