The End of Shaft Mount Type J is used where you have limited or reduced shaft length available.  The Type J model is designed to mount type B or C style hubs for sprockets and pulleys.

The JD model comes with an actuating disc that is forced out for immediate indication when overload occurs.  This feature is typically used with a (customer supplied) limit switch for shutdown or warning.
