Regional Sales Manager

SUMMARY  Implement the company's marketing plan to achieve sales and profit goals by directing the sales/marketing efforts through our representatives and distributors in a number of assigned territories in the U.S.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 

Appoints and trains new representatives in the functions and uses of Zero-Max products.

Assists representatives in explaining the technical functions and uses of company products to prospective customers and distributors.

Recommends a course of action to the representatives to identify target accounts and follow-up on those recommendations.

Evaluates the performance of representatives and distributors in their assigned territories.

Aids customers and customer service with technical support, and assists the customer service department with phone sales overload.

Recommends and attends product trade shows and conferences.

Assists the VP of Sales & Marketing in developing marketing/sales plans and goals for their territories.

Reports product shortcomings and possible solutions or corrections to management.

Prepares reports of business transactions and keeps expense accounts.

Participates in overall product strategy, research and development requirements and analysis of market research.

Takes on the leadership role in negotiations with OEM customers.

Makes sales calls to management representatives such as engineers, or other professional and technical personnel at commercial, industrial, and other establishments and attempts to convince prospective client of desirability and practicability of products or services offered.

Must be willing to travel 30% of the time for events that can take up to two weeks at a time. This travel will be both domestic and international (via plane or car). Occasionally, remote work and work done during nontraditional hours required.

Education and/or Experience  Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Manufacturing Customer Service Representative

Hours:  Monday - Friday (8:00 am - 4:30 pm)     

Serves customers by providing pricing, delivery, quotations, returns, credits and product information in a timely and professional manner.

Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of company's production and delivery schedules.
Enters a large volume of customer purchase orders into ERP system; processes a large volume of incoming calls.
Maintains customer records by updating customer information into the ERP software.
Investigates and resolves customer related issues.
Communicates with customers regarding price, delivery, requests for product information, and quotations.
Prepares credit memos for returned products and works with accounts receivable on corresponding debit memos.
Prepares export paperwork for international customer orders.

Alerts management of unusual or extraordinary account requests or activity. 
Builds and maintains customer relationships in a business to business sales environment.

Promotes products and professional image of Zero-Max.

Experience in a manufacturer's customer service environment, especially telephone communication with customers and potential accounts, preferred.
3-5 years of customer service experience, preferred.
ERP and CRM experience, preferred.
Highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction and strong work ethic.
Must have a good understanding of Microsoft Office software.
Must be able to handle a large volume of sales related phone calls; be proficient with data entry of orders; be detail oriented and accurate.
